New office will strengthen Västra Götaland as a leader in life science 🌟

The Life Science Office will create better conditions for proactive collaboration with academia and industry that contributes to the competitiveness of West Sweden and Sweden.

Jenny Almkvist has been given the task of coordinating the office’s work:
“I am very pleased to receive this assignment and look forward to working together with other West Swedish life science actors to strengthen West Sweden’s position in life science and contribute to Sweden as a leading life science nation,” says Jenny Almkvist, PhD.

Linked to the life science office is a steering group led by Regional Director Håkan Sandahl which includes Karin Looström Muth, Director of Health and Medical Care Development, Helena Lundberg Nilsson, Regional Development Director and Boubou Hallberg, Hospital Director of Sahlgrenska University Hospital.
